What is MTBG?
MTBG (Modern Trade & Business Group) is a referral networking group for business owners, entrepreneurs and professionals in Nashik. Members meet in the morning, introduce their business in one minute and pass each other qualified referrals.
Who can attend an MTBG meeting?
Business owners, entrepreneurs and professionals. Guests are welcome at a chapter meeting by invitation. Ask on WhatsApp and the team will reserve your seat.
How much does it cost to visit?
The visitor fee is ₹900 for a new visitor. It covers hi-tea and breakfast at the meeting. Membership fees are shared when you apply for a seat.
When and where do meetings happen?
Meetings start at 7:45 AM on the announced date at Enrise by Sayaji, Indiranagar, Nashik, and run until about 10:30 AM including breakfast. See the Meetings page for the next date.
What does "one seat per profession" mean?
Each profession (seat) is held by one member in a chapter, so you never compete with another member for the same referrals. If your seat is already taken, the team will tell you before you visit. In rare cases, such as a clearly different specialty, the chapter's core members can vote to allow a second member.
What should I bring and wear?
Dress code is business formals. Bring visiting cards and be ready to introduce your business in 60 seconds: who you are, what you do and the kind of client you are looking for.
How is MTBG different from other networking groups?
Four things. It is run by Nashik business owners who host every meeting themselves. Every meeting pairs the referral round with a practical talk from an experienced business owner, so you leave with ideas as well as leads. You can try it before you commit: one visit costs ₹900 with breakfast, and you are done by 10:30 AM. And with one seat per profession, nobody in the room competes with you for a referral.
Which professions can join MTBG?
Almost any business. MTBG organises seats into 27 categories, from Advertising & Marketing and Construction to Finance & Insurance, Health & Wellness and Retail, with over 300 specific professions. Browse them on the Members page and tap yours to ask whether it is open.
Does MTBG have chapters in other cities?
MTBG grows city by city, with Nashik as the founding chapter. Each chapter has its own members, meetings and seats, and members can pass referrals across chapters.
How do I become a member?
Visit as a guest first. If the room is right for you and your profession seat is open, the team shares the application, the membership fee and what members commit to.
